Common questions
-

Mamsbury is known to be quite chilling in Autumn and Winer but you’ll be kept cosy with three ways to keep warm - our wood fire, split system in the living room and wall panel heaters in all bedrooms, the bathroom and the loungeroom.
In summer, you’ll be able to use the split system, plus ceiling fan, in the lounge area. There are also ceiling fans in two bedrooms & a pedestal fan in the third. The screened windowns, and back and front door, can also be opened - it cools down quite quickly with these open in the evening, even if it’s been a hot day. -

It also features a local pub, chemist, small general store & a great restaurant, The Stables. There is a cellar door a few minutes from town, Zig Zag Wines.

The house is on an unsealed road at the village outskirts. It’s about a 20 min walk into town. It’s a quiet road, so very peaceful.
The house is on tank water, so if we lose power, the water won’t work, as the pump needs power. It happens occasionally, but the power is rarely out for more than a couple of hours.
The house is on bottle gas. We sometimes just need to switch between our two gas bottles if one runs out during your stay.
